Who we are

4x4TireReview.com is run by the 4x4 Tire Review editorial team. For any privacy question or request, email editor@4x4tirereview.com.

What we collect

  • Rate your tires reports: your tire, size, vehicle, miles, trail pressure, ratings and verdict, an optional display name, and your email address. We use reports to count and publish owner data. Your email is never shown.
  • Contact messages: your name, email address and message, so we can reply.
  • Newsletter: if you sign up for The Air Down, your email address and sign-up date. We send the newsletter through MailerLite, which stores your address for us and records whether emails are opened. You’ll confirm your sign-up by email, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
  • Form details: our form tool also records the IP address and browser type sent with each submission, which helps us filter spam.
  • Site analytics: we use Independent Analytics, which runs on this site’s own server. Its developer states that it uses no cookies and collects no personal data.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Affiliate links and cookies

When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set cookies to credit the referral. Those cookies are covered by the retailer’s own privacy policy. Read our affiliate disclosure for how we earn from these links.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site for us (our web host, and MailerLite for the newsletter) or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep survey reports for as long as they’re counted in our data, contact messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email editor@4x4tirereview.com and we’ll respond.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
