Tires per trim from toyota.com’s 2026 specs; pressures from Toyota’s 4th-generation owner’s manual, which doesn’t list the 265/70R18. The placard on your driver’s door jamb is the final word for your truck.
3rd generation (2018–2023): Toyota’s manuals list P245/75R16 at 32 psi, 265/70R16 at 30 psi, and P265/65R17 and P265/60R18 at 29 psi. They don’t say which trim gets which size, so check your placard.

From 45 Tacoma owners (29 3rd gen, 16 4th gen), counting only posts that give the tire size and the suspension. Wheel offset and each brand’s real diameter change the fit, so treat these as what owners report, not a guarantee.
On 3rd-gen trucks, owners running 285/75R16 on levels and lifts often report rubbing at the cab mount, the upper control arms or the back of the wheel well. The fixes they name are wheels with less positive offset, aftermarket upper control arms, trimming or chopping the cab mount, and removing the mud flaps.
